Here's Our Story
The OnCue concept was conceived around the barbecue pit. We met at The Jack {that's the Jack Daniel's World Invitational Barbecue Cooking Contest, for those of you not familiar with the vernacular} and creative sparks flew. We were each consulting with a variety of clients and as our talks grew more animated, we recognized a similar aesthetic, shared core business values, and a fantastically complementary skill set. We decided to join forces and offer our combined knowledge and experiences to our clients, past, present, and future.
Tommy Houston, the mutual friend who takes full credit for introducing us, is fond of saying, "You are two of the smartest people I know." While we are cloaked in modesty, that of course makes us grin like crazy.

We color outside the lines. While barbecue is our passion, our clients come from all areas of the hospitality and business worlds.

As a team of
professionals who are fully immersed in and committed to the
hospitality world, we have years of experience in all
aspects of owning, operating, and marketing restaurants,
catering, and vending operations.
We will spend time analyzing your current operation, meeting with you and your staff, and working together over the course of weeks and months to help you build your business and achieve your goals. We'll ask you dozens of probing questions and help you look at your business with fresh perspective. We'll offer a variety solutions ranging from simple and obvious to painful and realistic. Trust us, we make it much more fun than it sounds.
We work at your site or ours, and we also host training seminars at our Southern Illinois and Las Vegas operations. Clients love to visit and see behind the scenes at the restaurant and catering facilities.
